JOB PURPOSE:
Dynamic, detail-focused, and development-minded IT Architect. thrive in overseeing the development and implementation of the automation programs. The main focus of this role will be to design functional technology solutions along with providing leadership to software development teams throughout the department. Research, evaluate, and decide on suitable software and/or hardware and suggest effective methods of integration. Oversee ongoing projects which can include reviewing code and providing support and guidance to team members.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Carry out Model and assess complex IT solutions to enable equipment automation
Design and conduct hardware and software tests
Work closely with network engineers and other IT professionals to choose compatible design solutions
Provide advice to clients on project design, project costs, and the expected benefit
Analyze the scope and expected organizational impact of information systems
Develop distributed system architecture and system integration between TOS/RTLS/ECS/RTIS/Autogate
Evaluate existing systems and provide advice on how to meet organizational requirements
Ensure that the information system is secure from the threat
Ensure that the technical components of the project are in sync with the business needs of the organization
May be involved in the recruitment and training of new IT professionals
Organize the transfer of IT solutions to clients and non-technical staff.
المهارات
Bachelor’s or above in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 2 years experience in a development or architectural role
Minimum of 2 years experience with hands-on software development
Experience with project management using various methods such as agile and scrum
Experience in a service-focused role with experience of working to agreed service levels (SLA’s)
A good understanding and knowledge of various Terminal operating systems TOS
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with other teams, stakeholders, and management alike
Adept with problem-solving and have the ability to solve the problem from the root cause whilst taking into account suitable fixes
Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize workloads effectively
Able to mentor and lead a team with effective leadership qualities, along with the ability to delegate efficiently and identify strengths within the team
