Maersk is seeking a passionate and experienced Hub / Warehousing / Distribution Supervisor, Supporting the Hub Site Manager in managing the daily operations of specific customer(s) from activities, people, equipment, planning, execution, and issues handling perspectives in Maersk Petrochemical Hub site in King Abdullah Economic Zone. As well as being responsible for coordination with customers on dispatch, pick up from plant, coordinate with trucking vendors and local Procurement function on daily basis; with the right speed & accuracy.

Key responsibilities
Operations
- Receiving, planning, booking, processing, and monitoring execution of customer’s inbound and outbound orders; and Distribution planning, execution, and reporting tools.
- Generate and maintain the following reports for the relevant customer (Plant Dispatch Report, Stock Receiving Report, Inbound Report, Port Shuttling Report, Customs Clearance plus Daily & Monthly KPIs Report & Staff Attendance Re-port).
- Troubleshooting and solving customer’s issues and responding to customer inquiries.
- Coordinate with Local Procurement, Vendor Manager and Execution team for procurement, forecasting and daily operations.
- Assisting Hub Site Manager in daily execution of operations
- Recording & Managing staff attendance and availability.
- Support RF devices users.
- Maintain Empty Container inventory as per flow
- Covering other account executives while they are on vacation.
- Report issues of Trucking Capacity, Storage capacity, people capacity, equipment capacity to direct supervisor.
- Engage actively in work improvement projects.
- Engage in new customers implementation projects.
- Monitor the operations costs and financials to ensure that site PnL is maintained.
Customer Services
- Handle all customer(s) requests in accordance to SLA and contractual obligations.
- Manage the monthly business review meetings with the customer.
- Constant coordination with customer focal point for volumes forecast and accordingly planning the trucking / distribution capacity.
Reporting & Invoicing
- Responsible for overseeing the monthly service invoice and tackling customer(s) inquiries.
- Ensures that Performance reports, invoicing are timely and accurate
- Jobholder should expect to carry out his/her duties even beyond the Office working hours.
- To ensure the business continuity, Weekends/Holidays duties will be assigned to Job-holder based on the business needs and workload management.
- When required and based on management decision, Jobholder should expect travelling to Jeddah head office for meeting or trainings.
We are looking for
- Bachelor s Degree, in Maritime and Transport science. (Business Administration as an advantage)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Saudi nationals only due to visa restriction
- Based around King Abdullah Economic city / Rabigh area. The facility is based in King Abdullah Economic zone and Incumbent must attend his/her work daily at site.
- Fluent in English & Arabic
- Excellent Excel Knowledge
- Excellent WMS / ERP / MS Office Knowledge
- Extensive experience in Trucking / Distribution operations. Hands-on operational person.
- Drive for results can be counted on to meet/exceed goals consistently, steadfastly pushing self and vendors for re-sults
- Uses rigorous logic to solve difficult problems, looking beyond the obvious to probe for creative solutions
- Ability to organize people and activities to take advantage of synergies and integration and to achieve more with fewer resources
- Ability to marshal resources to get things done, orchestrating multiple activities at once to accomplish goals
