Firefighter / Driver Operator Position

Requirements:

1- Applicants shall have three years verifiable experience as a paid, full time Firefighter / Driver Operator with a municipal fire department.

2- High school graduate or above.

3- Age limits are 21 to 45 years old.

4- Passing the Fitness test, occupational health screening, plus medical assessment including eye tests (spectacles are acceptable).

5- The applicants shall be fluent in English; speaking and writing.

6- Possession of a heavy driving license.

7- The applicants shall hold international certification at the following minimums (or equivalent):

NFPA 1001 & NFPA 1002 (Firefighter I & II)
NFPA 472 (Technician level)
NFPA 1002 (Driver/Operator Engine, Ladder)
In case an applicant didn’t have one or more of the previous certificates, or their equivalents, he should be willing to go through training to get them.
