JOB PURPOSE
Maintaining of ISPS Standard.
Ensuring the development (or for developing) of a Port Facility Security Assessment
Ensuring the development (or for developing) of implementing, maintaining and updating a Port Facility Security Plan.
Ensure to Maintain ISO 28000:2007 standard for Security Management System (SMS)
Plans, examines, analyses, evaluates and supervises security operations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Conducting security audits of the port facility taking into account the relevant Port Facility Security Assessment and undertaking regular security inspections of the port facility to ensure the continuation of the appropriate security measures.
Ensuring the development and maintenance of the Port Facility Security Plan.
Implementing and exercising the Port Facility Security Plan.
Undertaking regular security inspection of the port facility to ensure the continuation of appropriate security measures.
Recommending and incorporating, as appropriate, modifications to the Port Facility Security Plan in order to correct deficiencies and to update the plan to take into account of relevant changes to the port facility.
Enhancing security awareness and vigilance to the port facility personnel and conducting the required Drills as per the yearly plan.
Ensuring adequate training has been provided to personnel responsible for the security of the port.
Port Facility security Officer Course.
Reporting to the relevant authorities and maintaining records of occurrences that threaten the security of the port facility.
Coordinating implementation of the Port Facility Security Plan with the appropriate company and ship Security Officers.
Coordinating with security services, as appropriate.
Ensuring the standards for personnel responsible for security of the port facility are met.
Ensuring that security equipment is properly operated, tested, calibrated and maintained.
Assisting Ship Security Officers in conforming the identify of those seeking board the ship when requested.
Maintain ISO 28000:2007 for Security Management System (SMS) and keep update relevant procedures and records/documents.
Maintain the Security Gates 24/7 without any breaches/incidents.
Ensure to monitor access control and CCTV’s 24/7 to tackle security incidents.
Prepares reports and records for management team, evaluates current procedures, practices and precedents for accomplishing activities and functions relative to security.
Prepares periodic budget estimates and reports, orders supplies and equipment as needed.
Supervises security personnel initiating personnel actions including recruitment, selections, transfers, promotions and discipline or dismissal, prepares work schedules, assigns or delegates responsibilities and evaluates performance.
Serves as liaison with public law enforcement, fire, port security dept, and other agencies as it relates to security.
Ensures overall compliance with OSHA / IOSH rules and regulations and maintains accurate records.
Assists in the implementation, training and administration of automated security systems, maintains records and conducts periodic inspections.
Coordinates training with regard to loss prevention, security threats and all other security topics related to all team members.
Coordinate with all stakeholders to manage the new expansion’s projects that related to the security dept.
المهارات
· Bachelor Degree or High School Diploma or Equivalent.
· 3-5 years of experience in similar role and 2-3 years Supervisory experience
· ISPS certification
· Security certification
· Safety Certification
· First aid certification
