Position Summary:
SmartApp is developing Saudi Arabia’s next generation property hub where buyers and sellers will meet to experience a reimagined real estate transaction. Our goal is to offer our customers a delightful end-to-end digital experience for selling, buying, renting and financing with transparency.
As a Lead Product Designer, you will envision how to bring the best experience for our customers to life through digital products in seamless and intuitive products and features. You will create exciting, elegant solutions for users that balance UX with business and technology needs. You will work closely with our Product Leadership,Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to understand and identify the core objectives and lead the solutioning efforts.
We’re looking for a team member who can both lead and execute. The right candidate has a breadth of experience, from developing user flows to designing key UI animations that make products feel polished. You’re passionate about design and have an attention to detail making great products. You have worked in environments rapidly prototyping concepts and testing with users to validate ideas. You’re comfortable giving and receiving feedback, presenting your work, and mentoring less experienced designers. You have an understanding of UX best practices and an interest in new and emerging technology and tools to create better products more efficiently.

Objectives and Responsibilities:
User Flows & Wireframes - You’ll work closely with Product Management and UX Research to understand the problem and user needs. You’ll be responsible for documenting user flows and wireframes on products and product features. You will be developing responsive designs and thinking from a mobile-first perspective.
Hi-Fi Prototypes - You will create inspiring, hi-fi prototypes and presentations that convey a vision for the product and the brand. You will be responsible for the visual design elements in the products, including creating a direction for the imagery, iconography, typography, and animation.
Design Documentation - You’ll prep design files for the dev team and work closely with developers to ensure the vision comes to life.
UI Animation - You’ll be responsible for directing and documenting UI animations and transitions to create elegant, modern user experiences.
Requirements:
Education - Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Business, or equivalent
Experience - 5+ years as a Product Designer
Software - Proficiency in Sketch and/or Figma and Invision; proficiency in animation software such as Principle for Mac; proficiency in visual presentation software such as Microsoft PPT, Keynote, Google Slides, or other
Communication - Excellent written and oral skills and ability to present your work among team members and stakeholders. Ability to work cross functionally and with remote members of the team and participate via video chat.
People skills - must possess excellent people skills to facilitate smooth interactions across various departments and levels of the business.
Multi-Tasking skills - a candidate will have to demonstrate an ability to comfortably deliver simultaneous and outstanding results.
Analytical skills - analytical individual who can develop strategies using lean methods. Ability to identify facts or information by breaking down information and analyzing results which can be used to come up with suitable solutions that can solve product related issues.
