Work Administration
Supervise the day to day activities and operations of employees and ensure their adherence to the guidelines and responsibilities assigned to them and that all activities are being conducted properly
Provide guidance and support to junior staff in the execution of their work and ensure proper knowledge transfer to develop them and improve their performance
Support in maintaining fundamental and basic decision-making practices for prioritizing demand, allocating staff, and assessing capacity to reduce delivery issues and increase resource utilization
Project and Portfolio Management
Lead a portfolio of project and program management services (project and program analysis, project and program execution, project and program delivery) for the ITOT department
Facilitate changes in IT’s operating model to support digital transformation
Ensures that investments and initiatives in project management services align with ITOT strategy and priorities
Develop and manage project and program budget and cost, resource allocation, and reallocations
Prioritize programs and projects based on changing functional needs, resource capacity constraints, risk exposure, and interdependencies
Promote the adoption of new delivery practices such as Agile, DevOps
Engage with cross-functional business leaders to objectively analyze the organization’s ability to absorb change and adopt project and programs post-deployment
Communicate status of the project and program portfolio to relevant stakeholders
Assist in executing the strategic direction set for investments in line with the enterprise architecture vision and the desired characteristics of the investment and related services portfolios and consider the different categories of investments and the resources and funding constraints
Assist in evaluating, prioritizing, and balancing programs and services, managing demand within resource and funding constraints, based on their alignment with ITOT strategic objectives, enterprise worth and risks
Ensure adherence to the appropriate governance functions related to the enterprise PMO guidelines, policies, and practices
Prepare the scope for improvement in strategic project management processes such as (Infrastructure services projects, service delivery processes, etc.) and project performance, drawing out lessons learned and recommends changes where necessary, ensure motivation and a drive for excellence are built in the project management and delivery
Keep the defined and the document of project scope, project targets/objectives to translate desired business benefits into clear and achievable project objectives
