Position Summary:
LSS engineer performs daily operations. Responsible for monitoring / adjusting all equipment vital to the operation of the LSS. Coordinates with maintenance team about all necessary maintenance and repairs. Directly reports to LSS lead.
Scope of Work
Read and implement operating instruction manuals and SOPs.
Understand and configure measuring instruments.
Problem solving and decision making.
Participate in the installation of new systems in the wet labs in relation to the LSS. • Maintain accurate records of the necessary documentations like check lists, event log sheet, incident reports.
Skill to operate SCADA and HMI systems, including the On Tap Program.
Perform applied mathematics for Life Support.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and respond to site in emergency cases. • Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of his/her position.
Willingness to be involved in a 24-hour duty shift.

Competencies
Experience operating and maintaining LSS.
Analyze problems in relation to the LSS.
Knowledge and experience with Automated Control System.
Knowledge and experience of all LSS equipment, e.g., pumps, VFD, ozone system and heat exchangers.
Good communication skills and Fluent in English language.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical engineering or related field.
Experience
Minimum (5) five years’ experience in the field of operations and maintenance. • Experience to work on SCADA and PLC designed systems.
Additional Requirement
Should have basic mechanical and plumbing skills.
Should have basic automation programming knowledge.
Should know about water distribution and water quality related to aquatic life. • Aware of HSE compliances of all safety measure related to handling any safety / hazardous materials.
Should be capable to develop and generate preventive maintenance work orders and task lists. • Work closely and coordinate with Maintenance Team.
