Summary of the job:
Leadership of local Cross-Sector Accounting (A2R) services.
Global and Regional Process Organizations are the lead providers, with local A2R performing key activities as below.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Leadership of local Cross-Sector A2R team (~ 1 locally-based Analyst)
• Lead process improvement / standardisation initiatives for local A2R
• Responsible to ensure all LGS processes are compliant
• Designated signatory for needed approvals / sign-offs
• Oversight of local A2R activities performed by team as below:
• Cash & Bank processes including:
• Management of Bank accounts (access & bank liaison)
• Cashflow operations file
• Cashflow co-ordination with relevant departments
• Cashflow management and related bank transfers
• Payments processing and approval
• Daily reconciliation and follow-up
• Supporting the Global C&B;team in Clearing process
• Manage & approve Cash & Banks controls (CA01/CA02)
• Monitoring Treasury interfaces and taking remedial action
• InterCompany processes including:
• Management of ICO payments
• Support & issues related to Intercompany borrowing
• Oversight of Interest Accrual on IC borrowing
• Tax-related activities, including:
• Act as bridge between CTC and LE Accounting teams
• GS Co-ordinator for PWC audits
• Supporting Local Tax audit
• Supporting GAZT Field audits / custom audits incl provision of data & documents
• Maintain user access for Tax websites for tax filings (e.g. Income Tax, Sales Tax, WHT returns)
• Support WHT team (co-ordination of certificates and data input)
• Support all Regional and Global Process teams (incl CFM) where local presence required:
• E.g. Cash & Banks, LE Accounting, ICO, LE Accounting, Procurement Accounting, CTC
• Lead internal and external audit in dedicated area of responsibility
• Sox Controls in area of responsibility
• Ensuring all tasks are completed as per J&J;calendar, in support of CFM
• Support process improvement / standardisation initiatives
• Other ad hoc activities as necessary
• Limited travel may be required (5%)
Qualifications
Experience Required
• 8 years job experience in different Finance Functions
• Professional Accounting qualification
• Local market experience preferably big 4 audit firms
• Experience working with accounting systems
• Local market Corporation Tax experience
• Fluent in English and have strong presentation skills
• Priority to Saudi Nationals
