Role Description The company is currently looking for ‘Modern Trade Sales Manager’, to be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The selected candidate will be required to lead the Modern Trade Sales function at a national level and monitor and analyze KSA Modern Trade sales activity against goals to take appropriate corrective action on timely manner. The position reports to the National Sales Director who reports directly to the GM. Key Responsibilities 1. Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. 2. Maintains and expands customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities. 3. Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; tracking competitors. 4. Directly manage major and critical developing customer accounts and coordinate the management of all other accounts. 5. Implements trade promotions along with marketing and publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending. 6. Responsible for growing market share for company products in Saudi market/ Modern Trade Channel. 7. Conducts one-on-one review with all Account Executives to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of Account Executive’s sales and activity performance. 8. Provides timely, accurate, market intelligence to formulate pricing strategy and implement approved pricing structure on all company products, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin. 9.
