To assemble, machine, or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools, machinery and welding equipment according to required specifications.
Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and product.
Perform modification and repair work if required.
Machining and fabrication of materials and components.
Fitting, setting, and installing fabricated structures
Cutting and welding with a variety of processes
Metal forming, bending, and finishing
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Works in conjunction with other site personnel and lead persons.
Any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor / Dept. Head
المهارات
Graduation from high school, vocational school, recognized craftsman apprenticeship program or equivalent.
OSHA safety course is a plus.
Knowledge of metallurgy, welding, and the ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints.
Highly skilled in operating wide array of shop and welding tools, schematic interpretation, and material properties of sheet metals.
Proficiency in operating hand-held power tools.
Ability to perform related fabrication tasks.
Understanding both English and Arabic
Communication skills, both written and verbal.
At least five (5) years of experience in metal fabrication works.
Experience in design and fabrication of Aluminium cladding is preferred.
To create or build a usable product out of metal by bending, shaping, welding or cutting to complete the final product.
Good dexterity.
Ability to read, understand and execute Piping Isometric Drawings
Strong reading and math skills
Good communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
