AHC looking for Sr. mechanical engineer to join our contracting firm based in Jeddah, KSA. The successful candidate will provide a provisional mechanical engineering service including:
Technical submittals (Design, Shop drawings, As-Built and Materials)
Lead and supervise execution on running projects.
Perform coordination with other trades to prepare coordination drawings.
Perform procurement and vendor selection.
Liaise with consultant\client and preparation of proposals and problem solving.
Maintain quality and safety measures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
10+ years of related experience in construction contracting industry include infrastructure and mixed use projects.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of local and international regulations, design standards, SBC, IPC, ASHRAE NFPA etc.
Excellent knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, HVAC, CHW, FF and plumbing design.
Strong software capability and proficiency in IES, HAP, and AutoCAD, sewer CAD, Revit and Microsoft suit etc.
Capable to carry out manual and computer based engineering calculations.
Advanced knowledge of vendor networking (suppliers, subcontractors and specialist applicators).
Excellent knowledge of cost estimation, tendering and QS.
