About the Role
Training & Technical support playing an active part in after sales team to provide technical support to after sales team.
The role will cover training needs analysis by way of competence assessment, planning and implementation of Technical training programmes both in house training and principal’s training ,following the Warranty claim with principal supplier and Uptime centre in Charge
About the Responsibilities
Training Need analysis & competence assessment
Deliver engaging technical training, in line with business needs to ensure that all distributor and company policies and procedures are adhered to, in line with Famco quality standards.
Create and encourage positive, energetic, memorable and productive learning environments for all participating associates.
Technical support to Workshops
Care track administration and Uptime Support
Volvo systems maintenance VDN,Care track,Techtool & Prosis – user account maintenance.
Arranging and conducting competency testing and assessments.
Developing and updating training programmes and material.
Reporting learner attendance, results and any issues, with emphasis on protecting learner & customer data.
Maintenance and development of training aids, workshop facilities and equipment.
Actively promote a safe and clean working environment in accordance with current health & safety legislation.
Actively promote equal opportunities and diversity in accordance to company policy avoiding discrimination
Facilitate training needs analysis of retail market, advise according to market trends and distributor guidelines.
Ensure compliance with management activities through one on ones and monitoring of daily distributor activities?
Assist with the orientation, training and coaching of staff, management and other stakeholders to increase efficiency within the workplace in line with the associated business improvement required.
Participate and execute adherence to company and distributor policy and procedure compliance.
Ensure the successful implementation of distributor technical training, fix it right activities, value chain and distributor fundamentals training activities.
Monitor, review and implement occupational health and safety, operational standards, technical support training activities.
Ensure all technical processes are implemented and adhered to from a National Service point of view.
Conduct on-going dealer visits to identify individual training requirements and complete post course evaluations.
Support all branches with training in relation to technical support in terms of campaigns, service schedules and equipment audits.
Ensure compliance with Brand Principals and adherence to all distributor policies, related to training.
Support new model launch activities and external company training by way of material development with the support of the technical training team subsequent delivery.

About the Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge
High level of proficiency in both written and Spoken English, (additional languages advantageous)
Full driving Licence
A High Level Qualification in:
Technical area applicable to the technical discipline (Construction & Earth moving Equipment’s.)
Adult learning or training and assessment certificate or equivalent
Minimum Experience
Technical Training or Coaching role, Minimum 2 Years
Automotive Industry Experience, Minimum 5 Years
Proficient to Master Technician Level or industry equivalent
Customer Facing Role Experience, Advantage
Ability to demonstrate modern vehicle diagnostic and repair methods
Job Specific Skills
Ability to train and coach, build relationships and utilise skills appropriately
Ability to provide outstanding customer service
Ability adjust priorities and structure time wisely in a fast paced environment
Ability to maintain strong administration skills
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner and listen attentively to others to understand material, and provide instructions to all employees.
PC Literate, proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
Ability to develop tailored training materials to suit the local market
