MedNet Saudi Internal Auditor , Jeddah
MedNet Saudi Arabia is one of the leading managed care service organizations that caters to healthcare needs. We are currently seeking to hire an Internal Auditor who supports the Board in performing its risk control and monitoring duties. The Internal Auditor will check and assess whether processes, structures, systems and activities within the company comply with external and internal requirements and advise management on how to design and document their internal control systems.
Your Job:
• Develop a good understanding of the regulatory environment in the region and keeping up with regulatory changes in order to prepare and perform internal audit along applicable requirements.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the business and create and maintain a risk-based audit universe.
• to create and implement an appropriate Internal Audit framework including policies and procedures, guidelines, check lists, reporting standards etc .
• Efficient performance of all regular and special audits based on the standards of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), local regulations and group Audit requirement.
• Developing, implementing and maintaining a risk based internal audit plan, aligned with the business and where applicable.
• Coordinating all auditing issues and ensuring excellent communication with management of all units to be audited.
• Issuing audit reports of high quality with particular attention to major or serious deficiencies and to the measures agreed to remedy them.
• Monitoring of the implementation of agreed measures to remedy deficiencies appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Report to the MedNet Board of MedNet Saudi on the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal control system.
• Building a professional working relationship with the business as a trusted advisor.
• Create valuable business insight from internal audit activity to support decision making.
• Demonstrate and apply business knowledge to better understand and deliver value for the business
• Contribute to the development of a compliance culture within MedNet.
Your Profile:
• Bachelor degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Actuarial Studies or Law.
• At least five years of proven full-time professional experience in an audit department, ideally in the finance, (re)insurance or TPA industry.
• Good knowledge of Middle East TPA market and regulations
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to come to grips with complex issues.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Certified Internal Auditor).
• Good command of oral and written English and Arabic required.
• Work experience in a multicultural environment.
• Strong team player sharing relevant information, highly motivated and conscientious approach to work.
• Confident and convincing manner, proven negotiating skills and assertiveness.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and track progress.
• Willingness to travel.
• Saudi National is preferred.
