Administer and monitor WAN, LAN, VLAN Link and ensure running and availability of all communication system to end user
Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions
Perform and/or oversee software and application development, installation, and upgrades
Plan and implement network security, including building firewalls, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users
Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties
Develop and conduct various training and instruction for system users on operating systems, and other applications; assist users in maximizing use of networks and computing systems
Anticipate communication and networking problems and implement preventive measures
Establish and perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards
Investigate, recommend and install enhancements and operating procedures that optimize network availability
Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network
Plan and implement network security, including building firewalls, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users.
Maintain Alcatel & CISCO telephony system, creating new extension, give access to national or international calls
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems, including user access and component configuration
Record and maintain hardware and software inventories, site and/or server licensing, and user access and security
Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and peripherals to include; network cards, printers, email, and internet access
Work as a team member with other technical staff, such as networking to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems
Conduct technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current system
Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network
Guide the technical support team through the troubleshooting process
Support to remote client in other cities of Saudi Arabia and other countries like (Qatar, Bahrain & UAE)
المهارات
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science; Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application
Experience:
At least 4-5 years of related experience; Microsoft Certified Professional & Cisco Certified Network Associate
