Well known FMCG Company based in Jeddah is Looking For Accounting Manager with the below Job Duties:
Own the execution and sign-off of the monthly and quarterly close and consolidation processes for IFRS and US GAAP reporting. This includes ownership of all technical accounting areas, financial reporting control execution and sign-off, month/quarter-end accruals, balance sheet account review, system reconciliations (i.e., intercompany process), analytics, , and internal/external financial reporting.
Support the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of internal controls within the organization working with cross-functional teams and external consultants.
Provide guidance and support in any accounting matters and other ad hoc requests, primarily technical accounting. Be the ‘center of expertise’ for US GAAP, performing research, aligning with accounting policy owners on conclusions/recommendations, updating policies and analyzing emerging US GAAP pronouncements as needed.
Provide on-going support to internal and external audit activities including preparation and review of audit requirements.
Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement to drive effectiveness and efficiency with a focus on increasing automation.
Work closely and develop good working relationships with partners and stakeholders in the Finance org, as well as other cross functional areas (i.e., PSO, Customer Service, Credit, etc.).
Handle all VAT related matters and ensure SJV VAT compliance in coordination with SJV VAT consultants
Support the local and US GAAP tax accounting and reporting in coordination with SJV tax consultants
Support special project work, as required.
المهارات
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or Business Administration with concentration in Accounting.
Chartered Accountant (CA)/Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, or international equivalent, required.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
Minimum of 3 years managing all aspects of a team of professionals and/or support workers.
Solid understanding of IFRS and US GAAP and financial statements and how to apply it efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to independently prioritize, promote a team environment, work in a cross functional environment with the ability to influence other functional areas and form solid relationships with other teams and work groups.
Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate information to Leadership and distill issues and risks.
Proven leadership and project management skills with solution oriented mindset.
Strong understanding of internal controls, with attention to detail and data integrity.
Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset with ability to identify and implement ways to streamline and improve effectiveness and efficiency.
High proficiency in Excel.
Strong verbal and written English language skills
Mix of public accounting (Big 4) and private industry experience preferably in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of costing and inventory accounting and reconciliations is a plus
MAS90, HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) experience.
Work experience in Saudi Arabia is an advantage
