Key Responsibilities:
1- Implements trial activities and make sure that the technical requirements are complied with. Otherwise, advice Manager for a possible retest or changes in trial parameters.
2- Ensures that all trial tests results are recorded properly (both in paper & system). Notes down all relevant findings and observations.
3- Plans and monitors all supplies needed in the execution of trial.
4- Prepares and keeps track of all temporary and approved product specifications.
5- Continues to monitor processes and comes up with recommendations for improvements.
6- Writes technical reports or graphs or charts related to all trial when required.
7- Does trial and experimental for new products for development or improvement of current products. Record machine settings and lab test results.
8- Ensures that retention samples requirements are followed.
9- Makes sure that all samples sent to customers are properly labeled and packed.
10- Tracking of all samples sent to customers.
11- Works with the QC team in maintaining and organizing all R&D;samples – raw material and finished products.
12- Does on temporary basis the function of QC Supervisor in the absence of the latter.
13- Follows all safety regulations and wear PPE’s when required for certain tasks.
14 - Follow GV HSE Rules and provide recommendation to improve GV HSE performance
15- Participate in Emergency and Preparedness and Response activities such as fire drill, oil/ chemical spill drill etc.
16- Participate in participate in HSEQ programs and activities
17- Participate in proactive activities of GVJ to prevent occupational risk and impact (i.e. development and update of Department HIRAC, Env. Aspects and Impact)
18- Report any HSEQ incident, including near misses, and nonconformance and provide 19-recommendations to correct and prevent recurrence.
Participate in accident investigation and reporting and identification of corrective action.

Education
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific discipline with a focus in a biochemical engineering field (e.g., chemical or biochemical engineering) is required.
Experience
The candidate must have industry related experience
