JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION : Electronic Engineer.

DEPARTMENT : Engineering, NFIC

REPORTING TO : Electrical Manager. Engineering Manager.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Electronic Engineer.

DUTIES:

1. Carry out fault diagnostic checks on high speed can making / filling / packaging equipment utilizing test measurement equipment and interpreting circuit diagrams / PLC programs.

2. Carry out Logical fault finding techniques on AC/DC motors / Frequency converters and control circuits, electrical/ pneumatic controlled modulating valves and circuits, hydraulic control circuits, PLC input / output units and circuits, Electronic HMI panels / temperature / pressure recorders and printers.

3. Carry out preventative electrical / electronic / instrumentation maintenance tasks in accordance with the engineering maintenance schedule or as instructed by the electrical supervisor.

KEY OBJECTIVE

Utilizing electrical / electronic / instrumentation engineering skills and knowledge to maintain and enhance the performance of all plant / equipment / services used in a production facility operating 24 hours a day. You will provide flexible support by operating a “12 HOUR” shift system for production requirements and factory services at all times and assist in the training and development of production operators / staff to deliver their first line maintenance and production objectives

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• PLC programming using Siemens software’s for machine automation or modification. (S7 200, S7 300, S7 400, S7 1200, S7 1500, Simatic HMI Comfort panels with TIA Portal Software WinCC V11,12,13,15.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain Various PID Controllers, Frequency Drive Inverters and process instrument.
• Installation / Calibration/ Setting of *********s of various Temperature/Pressure controllers.
• Calibration of Proportional Valves, i.e.Spirax Sarco, Samson Valves.
• Maintain and Install purely pneumatic controlled equipment such as Diaphragm pump, Air actuated valves etc.
• Maintain Can making Machineries and equipment such as; Can Ends Stamping Press(ENDOMAT, SIG, CEVOLANI PRESS),Can Ends Quality controller (PARMA CONTROLS, Cyclops), Scroll sheeting line (LITTELL), Printing line (CRABTREE & BILLHOFER), Can Body making machine (AFB and Soucan SOUDRONIC), Seamers (JBT, KRUPP and SIG CAN-O-MAT) and Can leak Tester (SIG and Corima).
• Maintain Process Equipment such as; Milk and Tomato Pasteurizers, Sterilizers, Filling and Seaming lines (TETRAPAK, ZACMI, JBT and FMC).
• Maintain and troubleshoot fully automatic packing machines (TETRAPAK, MEYPACK, INVOLVO, and INVOPACK).

CRITERIA

• PLC programming using Siemens software’s for machine automation or modification. (S7 200, S7 300, S7 400, S7 1200, S7 1500, Simatic HMI Comfort panels with TIA Portal Software WinCC V11,12,13, 15.

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain Various PID Controllers, Frequency Drive Inverters and process instrument.

Experience: 7 years’ Experience. (Min 3 years’ Experience in Siemens programming and troubleshooting).

Qualification: B.E Electronics OR B.E Instrumentation.
