Develop and maintain technical security standards, in cooperation with IT Security Officer.
Receive notification/alarms from Security Operations Center (SOC), investigate security incidents, and prepare reports.
Conduct internal vulnerability assessments.
Review and prioritize internal and external vulnerability assessment findings with IT Security Officer and IT team.
Research current IT security trends and threats.
Recommend enhancements to security posture to IT Security Officer and IT team.
Evaluate, test, deploy, document, and manage security devices and security solutions.
Participate in IT security meetings and briefings.
As part of change review/approval process, assess impact of proposed changes on security posture and provide recommendations.
المهارات
A bachelor’s degree or higher and ten (10) years of IT work experience, to include three (3) years of IT security work experience.
Security certification (e.g. GIAC, CISSP) preferred.
Extensive experience with system and network security concepts and best practices.
Significant experience with hardening network devices, operating systems, and applications (including web applications).
Significant experience with deploying and managing network devices (e.g. switches, routers), security devices (e.g. firewalls, IDS/IPS), and security solutions (e.g. endpoint protection, NAC).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.
Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment.
Successful candidates must be available to travel outside of their assigned office location at least 50% of the time, plus commute within the region (where public transportation often is not available).
Successful candidates must work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
