Evaluate, test, deploy, document, and manage client and server operating systems, network devices, and software applications.
As part of change review/approval process, document and submit proposed technical changes to network topology, operating system, network device, or application configuration.
Review recommendations from internal and external vulnerability assessments, test, document, and deploy recommended mitigation, in cooperation with IT Security Officer and Information Security Analyst.
Research current IT trends and available products, services, and solutions.
Recommend enhancements to existing IT solutions/services to IT team.
المهارات
A bachelor’s degree or higher and approximately seven (7) years of IT work experience.
IT certification (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco) preferred.
Extensive experience with TCP/IP networking.
Significant experience with deploying and managing Windows client and server operating systems and applications.
Significant experience with deploying and managing network devices (e.g. switches, routers).
Experience with Cisco and HPE switches and routers preferred.
Familiarity with system and network security concepts and best practices.
Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.
Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment.
Successful candidates must be available to travel outside of their assigned office location at least 50% of the time, plus commute within the region (where public transportation often is not available). Successful candidates must work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
