What You’ll Do:
Build an energized and productive procurement and fulfillment team in the region
Become a customer centric leader to build long-lasting relationships with Carriers / fleets and champion new product / features / processes in front of our Central Ops teams. You will be responsible for growth and engagement of our carrier base in your market
Take big picture ideas and projects and break them into actionable steps with aggressive timelines for completion
Grow and develop a team of Operations Coordinators and Carrier Sales Executives to execute on the acquisition, onboarding and engagement of fleets
Manage business stakeholders to solve operational problems and build solutions. You will set and give guidance to local Operations teams who will be the extended arm to this central function
Pro-actively search for bugs and help pilot new features which could improve a seamless carrier and shipper experience
المهارات
Requisites / Prerequisites:
Minimum of 8+ years of experience managing Operations in the logistics industry.
Demonstrated ability to build, scale and lead a large team effectively
Strong business acumen and ability to leverage tactical decision making framework
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead and manage cross-functional stakeholders on multiple projects at a time
Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or relevant masters degree a plus
Familiarity with local logistics industry is a must
Ability to fluently speak the local language
