Role Purpose
To manage the accounting and operational activities related to the investment portfolio and to be the main point of contact in handling communication between external parties and the front office team.

Accounting entries for investment portfolio transactions
- Accurate and timely booking of all accounting entries
- Reconciliation between physical and records accounts
- Record & confirm accounting entries for all investment activities in Advent System
- Reconcile all investment positions & cash accounts monthly, quarterly & annually
- Ensure investment & cash positions are reflected properly in financial statements

Funds’ transfers and transactions’ settlements
- Support Investment front office in cash transfers’ related activities
- Manage transactions’ settlement process with the different counterparties
- Initiate local/ international online funds’ transfers
- Prepare instruction letters for all investment-related transactions
- follow up with internal/ external counterparties movement on cash movements, documentation & any pending issues
- Confirm and cross check trade details
- Communicate settlement and transaction details and ensure matching (subscription form and confirmation sheet)

Accrued interest monitoring & recording
- Keep Track of expected accrued interest payments across all portfolio holdings
- Liaise with custodian on the actual receipt of cash and update the Advent system accordingly
- Update front office team on expected cash flow receipts from maturities or accrued payments
- Send cash balances across the different investment accounts

Manage communications with all external counterparties.
- Handle counterparties’ on-boarding and documentations updates
- Manage back office communications with external auditors, custodian, banks and investment firms
- Filling counterparties’ contracts forms and update KYC and AML updates
- Support external auditors review process
