• Familiar with IT ERP systems ORACLE SAP
• Overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals
• Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management
• Analyzing the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs
• Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software
• Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency
• Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management
• Coordinate IT managers and supervise computer scientists technicians and other professionals to provide guidance
• Control budget and report on expenditure
• Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts
Qualifications & Experience
• Proven experience as IT director or similar role
• Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
• Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
• Experience in controlling information technology budget

Directs activities and staff responsible for one or more components of the systems development life cycle including business analysis, systems analysis, applications development and/or quality assurance and testing analysis functions. May be responsible for all business analysis, systems analysis, applications development, and/or quality assurance and testing functions for a business segment or function. Reviews and approves systems development life cycle project requests and coordinates schedules and related departmental activities to ensure projects are aligned with the company standards and IT strategy. Provides overall direction and guidance to assigned project managers. Reviews and evaluates work of subordinate staff and prepares performance reports. Prepares activity and progress reports regarding application systems analysis and programming sections. Responsible for the development, implementation and approval of business analysis, systems analysis, application development, and quality assurance and testing policies, standards, procedures and methodologies.
