ESNAD Logistics is a third-party logistics (3PL) company are in the process of setting up a new warehousing and distribution division to providing warehousing & distribution services around Saudi Arabia and based in Jeddah. We seek to fill a Operations Director position
The ideal candidate will act as subject matter expert, responsible for securing new warehousing & distribution revenue through a targeted sales approach for new client bid proposals. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting account strategies, building customer relationships and developing best practice solutions. In addition, this individual will work internally to align all stakeholders and build support for these opportunities; ensuring timely RFP/RFQ response communications, lead implementation and execution of projects awarded.
Qualified candidates MUST have prior experience selling 3PL warehousing & distribution services. This person must demonstrate skills in targeting, lead generation, sales promotion and marketing, direct sales, pipeline and customer relationship management, solution and proposal development and pricing/ costing.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Develop, compelling and integrated supply chain solution proposals, with a focus on complex, large scale retail, FMCG, healthcare and automotive industries
• Develop and implement sales plans and sales campaigns to take advantage of market opportunities
• Utilize a consultative sales approach to discover potential customer needs and develop 3PL solutions
• Collaborate with internal resources and directly manage the sales process, including lead generation and qualification, contact management, proposal development and RFP response, presentation and closing
• Proactively establish and cultivate trust-based relationships with potential customers, with the aim of becoming their preferred Lead Logistics Provider
• Prepare and present compelling, commercially creative proposals to prospective clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information and within clients’ specific timeframes.
• Stay informed of and work to maximize utilization of warehouse facilities, personnel and transportation assets
• Work effectively with internal and external resource teams to ensure service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Ensure all business development best practice processes & procedures are followed. support the negotiation and development of contractual documents that protect ESNAD’s commercial and risk position

• Must have minimum 10 years direct sales experience in the 3PL industry, especially value-added warehousing, including warehouse fulfillment, value-added assembly and packaging, manufacturing replenishment, domestic truckload, export crating, final-mile and white-glove delivery, and (air and ocean) port services.
• Exceptional skills and experience in targeting, lead generation, sales promotion and marketing, direct sales, pipeline and customer relationship management, solution design, pricing/ costing and proposal development, presentation and negotiation, and sales training and management.
• Record of success selling in 3PL services
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and expertise in consultative selling methods.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain execution systems, especially for transportation and warehouse management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a technical field is required. M.B.A. or other master’s degree is preferred
• Comprehensive experience of warehousing and transpiration business, including e-com retailers
• Highly motivated and results oriented
