Responsibilities:
Implements and maintains data connectivity across LAN and WAN, handling set-ups, installations, and configuration.
Participates in Network architecture design and implementation.
Assists in generating network monitoring and performance reports.
Recommends network design changes or enhancements for improved system availability and performance.
Evaluating, installing, and supporting LAN/WAN hardware and software for SGPC sites.
Evaluates network hardware and software requirements and capabilities as per business needs and make recommendations.
Evaluate new technologies/products and conduct proof of concepts with vendors.
Coordinates third-party maintenance and troubleshoots problems.
Participates in various IT projects intended to continually improve the network infrastructure and will help find cost-effective solutions to adapt applications to newly approved standards.
المهارات
Skills and experience:
Engineering degree in Networking & Communications or equivalent.
1-4 years of experience in Local Area Network (LAN), Wide area networks (WAN), Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN), Voice over internet protocol network (VoIP), Video Conference systems, and/or campus/controller/cluster area network (CAN)
Holding any of the following or equivalent certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or CCNP Collaboration
Experience in design of major multidisciplinary projects
Experience with networking equipment such as L2/L3 Switches, Routers, IP-PBX, and Firewalls
Conversant with SASO, CITC, and NCA codes and standards.
