Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure that all food for patients and staff is prepared in accordance with the exact instructions given by Head Cook or his assistant as per recipe.
Ensure correct storage of food products before, during and after cooking and maintain a clean work environment whilst observing good personal hygiene practices and ensure that work is carried out in a safe manner.
Ensure that all equipment in the kitchen are clear and in a good working condition before use
Work with the cooks in the kitchen and liaise with them as necessary to ensure the smooth and efficient running of operation work shifts as required.
Serve the food to the patients during trayline and serve to the staff on buffet counter.
Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities

Must have organizational ability and be capable of following precise instructions.
Knowledge of methods, materials and practice of volume in food preparation.
Should have sound knowledge in the preparation cooking, hygiene.
Knowledge of inventory procedures and ordering methods.
Personal Qualities:
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Good memory details and creativity.
Excellent communication and team-building skills
Education
Diploma certificate in craft cookery or Accredited training courses
