Duties and Responsibilities
Police hospital buildings within the limit of his responsibility and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry.
Periodically patrol within the limit of his responsibility; examine doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure and have not been tampered with.
Apprehend and detain anyone suspected of unauthorized entry into the Hospital area. Subject is then handed over to the Supervisor and a statement is recorded.
Report to the Security Supervisor any unusual conditions or malfunctioning of any security systems.
Implement the relevant rules and regulations pertaining to the particular Security Guard post.
Maintain all Security equipment allocated per Security Guard post and report any malfunctions to the Supervisor on-duty.
Very strictly adhere to the designated uniform provided by the department.
Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities.

Knowledge of security related fields and safety measures.
Computer literate.
Knowledge of English language.
Personal Qualities
Ability to work courteously and effectively within a multi-cultural environment.
Flexible.
