Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides primary medical care to eligible patients, as defined by the MSD.
Interviews and examines patients in the PHC outpatient clinics.
Analyses history and examination findings and makes an initial diagnosis.
Orders diagnostic tests and imaging procedures within his purview as indicated by the condition of the patient.
Prescribes drugs and therapeutic interventions for appropriate indications.
Refers patients to Family Medicine Registrar or related Specialty Clinic at Northern Area Armed Forces Hospital whenever appropriate and necessary.
Instructs and educates patients in Preventive Health Care.
Renders appropriate instructions to Nursing and Paramedical Staff as required during the course of duty.
Participates in continuing medical education program.
Participates in other education and training programs as required.
Participates in departmental research projects arranged and sanctioned by the department and the hospital.
Performs other tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his / her knowledge, skills and abilities.
المهارات
Specialized Knowledge
Good understanding of Arabic and Fluency in English.
Basic knowledge of computers and information technology as applied to the medical sciences.
Knowledge of Internet resources of Family Medicine and other medical specialties and necessary skills of retrieving suitable information from the Internet.
Education
Graduate of recognized medical school with full registration.
