On behalf of one of the largest hospitals in the region with a mission to provide world-class health care with a world-class health system.
We currently have an opening for a Consultant Plastic Surgeon. Working under the professional supervision of the Chief of the Surgical Department.
You will provide specialized services for the diagnosis and management of surgical problems pertinent to plastic surgery.
Performs duties of the Plastic Surgery Outpatient clinic evaluating patients with plastic surgical diseases. Provides consultation service to Inpatients in your area of expertise.
Provides primary care to Inpatients admitted directly to the Plastic Surgery service.
Provides on-call emergency coverage for Plastic Surgical emergencies.
Provides comprehensive and diligent plastic surgical care to all assigned patients, including pre and post-operative care and plastic surgical procedures.
Assumes after-hours responsibility for the care of assigned plastic surgical cases and makes daily rounds for those hospitalized.
Adheres to the By-Laws and Rules and Regulations of the medical department and assumes that work performed is in keeping with the established standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation hospitals.
Maintains complete and accurate records of all assigned cases.
Participate in the monthly Staff Meeting of the Surgical Department and educational conferences.
Develops and maintains professional quality standards, makes recommendations for improvement of such standards, contributes, and participates in the hospital-wide quality improvement program.
المهارات
Graduation from an approved medical school.
Three years of Residency training in a recognized residency training program.
Board state, MD, or equivalent.
5 to 10 years of practice in the field of Plastic Surgery.
Ability to adjust to a group practice in an industrial environment.
Additional courses and training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
Adept at solving problems through the effective use of analytical approaches.
Extra knowledge in reconstructive surgery through recognized certified courses.
Equipped with in-depth knowledge of cosmetic procedures through relevant courses, workshops, and training.
