Job Description:
The Credit Control Manager is responsible for managing the credit control team and overseeing the company’s credit and collections processes. This involves setting credit policies, monitoring customer accounts, assessing credit risk, and managing collections activities. The Credit Control Manager will also work closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate billing and payment processing.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement credit policies and procedures
Manage the credit control team and provide coaching and support to team members
Assess credit risk and establish credit limits for new and existing customers
Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue payments
Coordinate collections activities and ensure timely resolution of delinquent accounts
Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential risks
Prepare reports and presentations to senior management on credit-related matters
Work closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate billing and payment processing
Recommend changes to credit policies and procedures to minimize risk and improve cash flow
المهارات
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience in credit control, collections, or accounts receivable management
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Knowledge of credit reporting agencies and credit scoring models
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
