Control machines and processes and provide guidance and advice to other miners
Provide input, advice and recommendations to management and engineering colleagues to resolve problems and optimize mining operations
Analyze and interpret information (in consultation with Technician/Engineer) and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems
Oversee specific mining process and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess evidence of operating problems
Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events
Inspect and oversee inspection of equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
Advice on and move control settings to start, stop or make necessary adjustments on machinery and equipment units affecting to optimize quality/productivity
Oversee transportation and storage of flammable and other potentially dangerous products to ensure that safety guidelines are followed
Monitor recording instruments, control panel lights, gauges, dials or other indicators and listen for warning signals to verify conformity of operating conditions
Record, review, and compile applicable records, test results, and gauge readings such as temperatures, pressures, concentrations, and flows
Regulate or shut down equipment during emergency situations following protocol
Contribute ensuring compliance to HSERQ requirements
Perform standby duty

10 Years Mining experience (6 Years practical experience in specific field)

Valid driving license (trucks)
Meeting (official/regulatory) minimum standards of fitness to perform work in a mine/mine environment
