Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors to ensure they deliver high quality products at competitive prices
Ensuring that all orders are delivered on time by following up with suppliers if they are behind schedule
Monitoring inventory levels and ordering new supplies as needed to ensure that products are available when needed
Managing employees by providing training in effective work habits and performance techniques
Monitoring freight costs and insurance coverage to ensure compliance with company policies
Coordinating with vendors to arrange shipping schedules, methods, and pricing
Coordinating with shipping companies to arrange pickup and delivery of goods
Overseeing warehouse operations, including employee hiring and training, inventory management, and waste disposal
Planning routes for delivery trucks to take based on traffic patterns and road conditions
Provide analysis and prioritization of faster and cost-effective means, yet with absolute quality, of customer fulfillment periodically
المهارات
Bachelor’s degree with +3 years’ experience in business logistics.
Strong customer and supplier relationship development and maintenance.
Strong teamwork and customer fulfilment habits and attitude.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Good communication skills
Ability to set up a reporting system and update it with data on a daily or weekly basis as required
