Role Purpose
CLIENT Authority is aiming to disrupt the existing models and set a new standard for
governance in the world, institutionalizing the Authority of the future, which is digitally native,
adaptive, lean, and citizen and business centric.
The Director of the Office of Architecture and Style is the head of the Office with the purpose to
set into place the CLIENT Architecture and Style Manual that supports CLIENT
development towards the aesthetic and qualitative mandate of CLIENT Vision. The role
demands continuous support CLIENT -through to ensure development reaches the
desired architectonical and design outcome in a seamless procedure.
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
15 years of experience in industrial design, architecture, technology, film, media and
other creative industries within large-scale public or private sector entities
Outstanding leadership capacities, proven track record in delivering major design
policies or initiatives at scale
Understands the global vision for unique CLIENT Style management across sectors
Able to engage and negotiate across disciplines with senior global experts in varied
fields, such as architecture, industrial design, digital design and technology platforms
Able to work at accelerated pace whilst delivering outstanding results
Able to design content and present to C-Suite, including CLIENT Board of Directors,
commercial partners and at international events representing CLIENT.
Experienced in procurement and contracting practices and principles
Proficient in English, Arabic is an advantage
Essential leadership qualities:
Proactive individual capable to creatively identify structures of order out of chaos and
ambiguity with resiliency to adapt promptly to changes
Decisive individual with capacity to navigate the waters of a political establishment
Proven experience working in international multi-cultural organizations valuing diversity and inclusion
Excellent managerial skills for motivational team building with flawless capacity to communicate to all management levels
Qualifications
Master s or PhD education level in design sector, or outstanding professional career

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
The candidate for Director of the Office will work across teams to:
Elaborate the CLIENT Architecture and Style Manual and prepare for approval
Custody the Style Manual, the guidelines to the production of all style and design output in CLIENT, and manage its application CLIENT through
Manage the adaptation of the Style Manual to CLIENT s physical and digital constructs
Manage the interaction with the CLIENT Style Committee, a group of world-leading designers and architects who influence and give creative vision to CLIENT s style vision.
Prepare reports on specific assets or design clarifications as required by CLIENT Authority, CLIENT Company and other authorized bodies
Ensure correlation and compliance across CLIENT entities including digital compliance with the Style Manual
Engage stakeholders to comply with the Style Manual
Perform the expected director tasks as per CLIENT policy in terms of budgetary forecasts and financial management, negotiation of contracts, expenses, and leases
Manage staff recruitment, staff performance assessment individually and as a team, provision of bespoke
