الوصف الوظيفي We have an extensive portfolio of international projects, helping our clients address asset creation, process improvement and plant optimisation needs. Our locally focused teams incorporate expert electrical, ICA, process, mechanical and civil engineers who provide a multidisciplinary approach to solving our clients’ problems in creating, managing, building and investing in water and wastewater infrastructure. Detailed role requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering Chartered status (or equivalent) preferable 10+ years relevant industry experience Excellent interpersonal skills and strong technical writing and communications skills. Considerable utilities design and project management experience related to master planning and development projects Experience of Water Industry (potable, treated sewage effluent reuse and wastewater) major projects in treatment/transmission/storage and distribution Working knowledge of PPP Procurement in the water sector Experience of leading teams in the design of water infrastructure for EPC contractors (Design and Build) Working knowledge of relevant software packages like EPANET, WaterCAD, MicroDrainage, InfoWorks, SewerCAD, StormCAD, STAAD, DIALux etc A sound working knowledge of the latest relevant design standards and codes Experience in Projects and Design Management and Bid Preparation Experience of managing multi disciplinary teams in design delivery, supporting, mentoring and developing more junior team members An ability to multi-task and be self starting in new business environments Excellent communication and influencing skills Arabic language skills are an advantage Responsibilities Managing projects independently and successfully from start to completion Provide technical support to a wide variety of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects Provide technical guidance to the team members in the design phases Produce project design reports and maintain protocols on the internal correspondence with the team members and other departments Contribute to and reviews technical report writing and data/analysis summary tables and exhibits Coordinate work with other engineers and professionals within and outside own discipline, and with support services staff. Preparation of Technical Specifications and Material Specifications for utility assets such as sewage treatment plants, reverse osmosis plants, district cooling and primary sub stations Preparation of project design reports and liaison with the client Manage the Infrastructure/Utilities Design team Client interface management Bid management and coordination Why work with us?
