The role holder will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the Project Execution plans, while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, quality standards and ensure that all sectors are following projects plan to achieve the objective as planned. The role is also responsible to review and track financial aspects of project, and ensure that projects completed within approved budget and timelines to reach a successful closure and prompt payment. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies.
Reviews and support Project Execution plans for all sectors on assigned SIO class A project so that all projects deliver the expected results according to project partnership model Coordinates efforts to complete the process of drafting projects master plan, and ensures linking the business needs with projects delivery to support beneficiary units to meet their business requirements. Provides required guidance in matters related to project execution to the sectors for successful execution of all articulated plans. Advises appropriate cost-effective methods to enhance or replace current project processes, thereby optimizing STC’s project life cycle cost and operability. Liaises with key stakeholders for coordination of all matters pertaining to the projects execution in accordance to the project communication plan. Ensures regular review of project execution during the delivery phase and monitors the project from the viewpoint of schedules, budgets risks, and business objectives, reporting status to management on a regular basis and highlighting variations from schedule, budget or strategic alignment, if any. Monitors on a regular basis, ensuring that the documented scope of work is executed in line with corporate standards and contracted specifications. Supports arising issues/bottlenecks that faces execution on the ground for SIO/Class A projects, assess their criticality and propose preventive/corrective measures to ensure projects meet deadlines/budgets. Ensures value delivered by SIO/Class A projects towards sector and overall STC are in line with expected results. Coordinates efforts to complete the process of drafting projects master plan, and ensures linking the business needs with projects delivery to support beneficiary units to meet their business requirements. Supports all project change requests through integrated change control system, and act as a point of reference and /adviser to all stakeholders around the organization implications of requested changes on the scoping of projects on the ground. Reviews and track financial aspects of project, and ensure that projects are completed within approved budget and timelines. Develops and deliver timely messages to project sponsor and projects board the project status vs plan along with risk/changes report. Ensures all necessary sign off on project completion and reviews completed projects before handover while ensuring that all discrepancies are resolved including payment processes
