Kempinski Al Othman Hotel
The spectacular new five-star Kempinski Al Othman Hotel Al Khobar offers sweeping views over the Al Khobar skyline. A wide range of rooms and suites are available, as well as 18 stunning, designer-styled apartments that combine the ultimate in elegance, space and comfort with all the services and amenities of a five-star hotel.
Director of Marketing
The overall scope of the Director of Marketing is to assist the Director of Sales & Marketing to
position and promote Kempinski Al Othman Hotel and its outlets as the market leader through marketing activities
as well as to ensure compliance with the brand Kempinski.
Key Responsibilities
Determines overall marketing campaign ROI. Monitors and reviews the response rates in
order to improve and take corrective measures (where applicable).
Pro-actively promote Rooms, Food and Beverage including Banquet/Conferences, or
any other current or forthcoming activities which lead to potential sources of business.
Conduct market analysis on a regular basis and especially before outlet opening or
re-positioning.
Ensure hotel information is updated regularly on the intranet, kempinski.com and third
party websites.
Implement advertising plan in strategic feeder market and supervise ROI and apply
corrective measures if needed.
Ensure compliance with Corporate Identity guidelines.
Ensure all creatives are reviewed and approved by Corporate Marketing in a timely
manner before advertising agency or printer proceeds.
Maintain updates of corporate marketing guidelines and inform colleagues.
Communicate and coordinate with internal departments, especially sales, Public Relations
and web as well as creative agencies and suppliers.
Take part in marketing training programmes.
Keep updated with the latest developments in the hotel including all activities,
promotions, rates of the hotel.
Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years as Director of Marketing
Minimum 5 years in a marketing managerial role
Relevant experience in Saudi Arabia under same position
Fluent Arabic and English
Excellent communication skills with suppliers and hotel colleagues
Strong negotiation skills
Flexible, reliable, sense of urgency
Desire to help, team player
