Development and delivery of a multi-year Training Program serving the professional development needs and continuous best practice of diverse staff from the Royal Commission and Parsons in JCPDI

Major Activities Performed:
• Develop and implement a multi-year training program for a wide range of staff.
• Prepare policies and procedures for a multi-year training program.
• Develop and implement a wide range of learning channels including but not limited to:
• Lunch & Learn / Tool-Box Talks
• Cultural Awareness & Basic Language Awareness Briefings
• Internal Trainer Programs
• Mentor & Shadow Programs
• Communities of Practice (to build a knowledge network across functional lines)
• Exposure Assignment Program
• Coordination of Subject Matter Experts, designated internal trainers and external training vendors to develop, organize, and conduct online and/or instructor-led training, including associated training materials.
• Coordination of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), including staff across various departments and divisions.
• Develop and conduct training and development evaluations to ensure effectiveness.
• Provide and analyze training reports as needed to monitor training compliance.
• Implement special training projects as required in support of Program activities.
• Lead to ensure training and development personnel are effectively and efficiently trained and equipped.
• Monitor training to ensure quality and requirements of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Work closely with subject matter experts on the design and development of instructional content, as well as graphics and multimedia elements for delivery.
Experience and Qualifications:
• Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Project / Program Management, Education, or a related field is preferred. Extensive relevant experience will also be considered in place of a Degree.
• Minimum of 10 years experience working in training and development including 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Excellent spoken and written English language skills with the ability to communicate effectively is a must.
• Positive, outgoing, resilient, and culturally sensitive approach to stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in procuring external training delivery vendors is an advantage.
• Advanced computer skills are essential with experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work with little supervision to accomplish deadlines.
• Proficient problem solving and critical thinking.
