Position Overview
The Program Communications Specialist (PCS) is to provide organizational support to internal and external communications, create and update graphics utilized in product delivery, support corporate branding, and serve as a liaison with Saudi Government counterparts and engagements. Must be able to interact, communicate, translate, collaborate, and build customer relationships with all client and management stakeholders in a culturally diverse and complex environment.
The objectives are to communicate messages in a professional and culturally appropriate manner, think critically from a project and strategic planning and change management perspective to develop solutions promptly, build infographics and figures for project deliverables, and support JV branding, and standardization that ensures cross-language communication and visual representation of business analytics that are effectively produced and conveyed. Support the KSA Program Management Office (PMO) in execution of the program in communication related products and support services.
Responsibilities/Duties
• Communicate effectively, proactively and identify means of maintaining and improving programmatic data communications.
• Develop strategic communications plans that include measurable outcomes.
• Develop, manage, and implement communications strategies internally and externally for the JV.
• Create visual storyboards of program successes, strategies, and plans.
• Provide strategic cross-cultural communications counsel and support to team leaders and the PMO.
• Develop communications products that support data visualization of project and program deliverables.
• Suggest and implement changes in project and program processes.
• Interact regularly with clients, officers, stakeholders, end-users and military organizations to determine needs.
Individual may be required to perform additional position-specific duties in line with those described above.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor s degree
• Applicable work experience in DoD and FMS experience in Saudi Arabia in the disciplines mentioned.
• Minimum 5-10 years of increased responsibility
• Graphic design and visualization software expertise
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• Successful experience fostering an inclusive environment working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Skills & Knowledge
• Must have strong problem-solving, organizational, and written/oral communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Must be detail-oriented with ability to consistently meet deadlines and possess the ability to work independently as needed.
• Computer, interpersonal and customer relations skills are necessary.
• The person must be able to multi-task and demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse work group of vendors, executive managers, subcontractors, consultants, and other professionals
