Ensure that all food for staff is prepared in accordance with the exact instructions given by Head Cook or his assistant as per recipe.
Ensure correct storage of food products before, during and after cooking and maintain a clean work environment whilst observing good personal hygiene practices and ensure that work is carried out in a safe manner.
Ensure that all equipment in the kitchen are clean and in a good working condition before use
Work with the cooks in the kitchen and liaise with them as necessary to ensure smooth and efficient running work shifts.
Serve the food to the staff on buffet counter.
Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities and English language.

Must have the organizational ability and be capable of following precise instruction.
Knowledge of methods, materials and practice of volume in food preparation.
Should have sound knowledge in the preparation cooking, hygiene
Knowledge of inventory procedures and ordering methods.
Two (2) years experience as a cook (Arabic and Western).
One (1) year experience in a large Institution.
