We are seeking a Senior Development Manager to drive development of a major (2.5km) urban green space that will provide a wide variety of active and passive recreation facilities as well as showcasing traditional Saudi Heritage and Culture. The district is split into 3 smaller landscape zones, each with their own distinct identity.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the development of an area set to be an iconic attraction in the Kingdom’s capital city.
We require someone who can evidence full development life-cycle experience as the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the development briefs for assigned assets and will manage the relationship with Design Department, being involved in the preparation of the design brief for each design phase. Once the project moves through the procurement phase, this will include managing the relationship with the Procurement Department, supervising the procurement process (list of consultants/contractors, procurement strategies, EOI s, RFP s, LOA s, ITT s).
The Senior Development Manager will have overall ownership and responsibility for the successful delivery of the project and will manage overall internal and external stakeholders in relationship to the delivery of the development (authorities, consultants, contractors, and other internal departments) and will supervise the design process and construction process, proactively collaborating with the Project Management Department/external project manager all the way to handover of assets to operators, third party owners or other beneficiaries.
Whilst regional Middle East experience is not essential, those looking for a move to the region much be able to evidence relevant project experience and skills.
You must have worked for a project owner or developer on a large scale urban regeneration project, including responsibility for public realm development.
This role is based full time in Riyadh.
