We are currently recruiting in conjunction with our client for a Naval Instructor Weapons Engineering Technician to join their team in Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Naval Specialist Training (NST) at the Technical Institute for Naval Studies (TINS), located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dammam.
Specifically, the post holder will be responsible for training the Royal Saudi Naval Force (RSNF) students in serviceability, readiness and accuracy of systems associated with the operation and maintenance of Ships weapons systems for their Fire Control Technician (FT), and their communication systems for their Electronics Technician.
Preparing them to help maintain, diagnose, and repair complex sensors and weapons systems, guaranteeing missiles and guns are fully operational.
Job Accountabilities
The post holder is responsible for:
• Delivering Naval Specialty Training curriculum (including relevant elements of Basic Skills Training), and, in particular, Fire Control Technician and Electronics Technician specific elements.
• Supporting invigilation activities for assessments.
• Supporting remedial training activities.
• Writing assessment materials.
• Supporting the continuous improvement of courseware materials and media.
• Writing student reports as required, to meet customer requirements.
• The post holder will ensure the completion of any other reasonable request by their line manager, which aligns with company business.
• The post holder will be expected to operate to a standard of absolute integrity and professionalism.

• Complete SDT mandatory training.
Skills and Experience
Essential
• Instructural experience in a naval trade school.
• Be a graduate of an advanced military trade school or an industry equivalent.
• Have proven experience performing the role of Weapons Engineer Technician or equivalent.
Desirable
• Have recent instructional experience.
• Have successfully completed an approved / accredited Instructional Techniques course.
