Job Purpose:
Maintenance Mechanic will install, maintain, repair and upgrade mechanical equipment, components, tools, and machinery.
Tasks:
-Follow blueprints and schematic drawings to determine and plan assembly of all machineries based on job specifications and assembly procedure.
-Must know how to carry out alignment and calibration of machines and equipment.
-Assemble, install and test equipment, piping, valves, gauges, sensors etc.
-Use a variety of tools or equipment such as standard hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers and hammers; power tools such as drills and saws; lifting devices for the assembly of the machine components.
-Perform Routine and on-the-spot checks and tests of all mechanical components, pneumatic and hydraulic system.
-Follow Safety Regulations and are responsible for following and maintaining all safety standards and regulations.
-Inspect mechanical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair to ensure compliance with design.
-Perform regular maintenance on existing systems and design maintenance schedules for all systems to ensure they remain in proper working order.
-Diagnose malfunctioning systems, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
-Troubleshoot and repair motors, mechanical circuits, and all mechanical systems.
-Track all tools and parts used and new items must be ordered as needed.
-Repair or replace mechanical parts, using hand tools or power tools.
Qualifications:
-Must have diploma in mechanical engineering related course
-Minimum of 5 years experience as Mechanical Technician

-Attention to detail.
-Good communication and writing skills
-Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
-Work independently.
-Willingness to work outside work hours such as in weekends.
-Understand and follow instructions
-Dependable and responsible
-Must be proficient in the following:
-Hydraulics
-Pneumatics
-Welding
