الوصف الوظيفي 3.1 Abides by the Medical Staff Bylaws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff and those specific to the department. 3.2 Responsible for the provision and maintenance of an efficient consultative, diagnostic and advisory service in Histopathology. 3.3 Provides Advice to the Director of Medical Laboratory concerning trends and new developments in the field of Histopathology. 3.4 Participates in the management of physical and manpower resources of Histopathology to maximum efficiency and effectiveness. 3.5 Participates in the on-call duties as required by the department. 3.6 Will be required to participate in Clinico-pathological meetings. 3.7 Teaches staff assigned for training purposes, and participates with the Director of Medical Laboratory. 3.8 Participates in the improvement of quality of patient care (Quality Management and Patient Safety Program, Quality Assessment Improvement Program) as applicable. 3.9 Fulfills the requirements of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties with regard to continuing medical education. 3.10 Serves on hospital committees as requested. 3.11 Deputizes for his superior as required and shares workload in his specialty during the absence of his colleagues. 3.12 Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities, within the hospital. 3.13 Participates in the CAP Proficiency Testing Program of Histopathology and Cytopathology. المهارات 7.2 Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. 7.3 Ability to speak, write and read Arabic and English.
