BASIC PURPOSE
Responsible to provide the highest possible standard of patient care according to approved clinical privileges and available resources and ensure that a quality, cost effective service is provided to all patients.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Graduated from a medical school.
• Certification in the appropriate specialty by an approved specialty board (recognized by the Saudi Council for Health Specialties)
• American Board in appropriate specialty / fellowship program in the country of origin of the applicant.
Work Experience:
• Three (3) years’ experience, after completion of specialty / fellowship training.

Essential Functions:
Provides direct medical care to patients.
Conducts patient examinations and diagnosis nature of disease or disorder.
Performs aspirates, biopsies and other related test and special procedures.
Prescribes and administers medications and treatments.
Participates in educational and research activities.
Participates in departmental meetings and activities.
Performs as physician on call as required.
Participates in development and administration of educational programs.
Conducts daily ward rounds.
Ensures that all appropriate documentation is written/stamped/signed/co-signed in patients’ charts.
