Reports to: Nursing Unit Manager
Position Summary:
Supervises the clinical activities of all nursing personnel on assigned shift; coordinates clinical activities among the multidisciplinary health care team; maintains a high quality nursing care for all patients; functions as a role model for all unit personnel.
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing in country of professional practice (Diploma or bachelor degree from Western and similar countries).
• Current nursing license registration from country of professional practice.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in acute care setting, two (2) years of which in a level of Charge Nurse, Head Nurse or Assistant Head Nurse position and/or demonstrates leadership qualities during relief Charge Nurse assignment.
• Ophthalmic, medical and surgical knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written English language skills.
