Your Main Responsibilities
• An opportunity has arisen for a Basic Skills Training Support Staff role in the Seamanship department within a Naval training base in Dammam. The purpose of this job is to ensure that the highest training standards in seamanship are delivered and maintained at the Technical Institute of Naval Studies (TINS). This includes classroom and/or seamanship laboratory/workshop requirements pertinent to the smooth operation of the Seamanship Laboratories, the Forecastle (FX) and Quarterdeck (QD) training platforms and supporting infrastructure.
Your Skills & Qualifications
• have some knowledge of Seamanship, whether military or civilian
• have an assessed English Language ability to IELTS 3.0 in speaking, reading and writing achieved within the last 2 years
• have a recognized train the trainer qualification
• Have demonstrable evidence of a Naval or Military background,
• be a graduate of an advanced military trade school or a civilian training establishment
• 3 years practical experience across a range of technical and engineering areas,
• have a minimum of 1 years experience working within a training environment
