JOB PURPOSE
To carry out all Quality Control (QC) functions during coating activities according to the client specification, scope of work, codes, standards, approved Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and documented procedures in order to ensure quality services.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Daily Operations
Carry out the prescribed inspection and preparation as stated hereunder to meet the standard of work and services:
Check and maintain record of environmental condition.
Conduct blotter test prior to blasting operation Commencement.
Perform Surface preparation inspection AS PER SA 2.5.
Conduct Chloride Salt Test on the blasted surface.
Conduct In-Process primer inspection AS PER APCS-22A.
Perform Primer Coat inspection AS PER APCS-22A.
In-Process Top Coat Inspection AS PER APCS-22A.
Top Coat Inspection AS PER APCS-22A.
Review and analyze all ITPs, QCP, Method Statement, Material Approval in order to prepare the inspection plan, including a checklist of inspection points.
Carry out inspections during the coating activities in order to ensure compliance of works, specifications, quality, and other applicable standards.
Schedule, coordinate and monitor the calibration of all measuring devices, instrument, equipment and system in order to ensure standards are met.
Assist in the handling of non-conformities in order to support in their resolution following an inspection.
Safety & Quality
Implement safety & QMS Procedures in order to ensure that the coating activities are in compliance with company standards and completion.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Provide inputs and implement policies, systems and procedure for the assigned team so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
Continuous Improvement
Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Reporting
Prepare sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet Zamil Offshore and departmental requirements, policies and quality standards.
Health & Safety
Maintain an awareness of all health and safety rules applying to the assigned tasks and tools to ensure that safe working practices are observed.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualifications:
College Graduate, Bachelor’s Degree.
BGAS/NACE Level 2 Certificate
Minimum Experience:
More than 5 years of relevant oil and gas experience
Experience in related field considered an asset.
Job-Specific Skills:
Knowledge in ISO and other international quality standards
Capable to do Quality Auditing
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong English communication skills – verbal and written
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
