• Confers with landscape architect and other involved personnel in the selection, ordering, planting and maintenance of trees, turf grasses and other plants.
• Lead and support team to reach common goals.
• Design, plan, and supervise the construction of landscapes, gardens etc.
• Thorough knowledge of ornamental horticulture in all phases plant propagation and cultivation.
• Design landscapes that satisfy clients’ requirements, objectives and budgets while conforming to the laws and regulations.
• Prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals to the client.
• Advise the client on the practicality of their project as well as with the site selection.
• Produce detailed workings, drawings and specifications.
• Ensure that the environmental impact of the project is limited.
• Provide various predesigned services which may include conducting feasibility and environmental impact studies, selecting a site, or specifying the requirements the design must meet.
• Prepare drawings and present ideas for the client to review.
• Develop final construction plans that show the landscape’s appearance as well as details for its construction.
• Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color,
equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
• Trains ground personnel in the techniques of pruning, wound dressing, cavity repair, and the cabling and bracing of trees and shrubs.
• Other related tasks as may assigned.
