الوصف الوظيفي
The Project Manager shall be responsible for the delivery of the project
civil infrastructure to time and budget. Responsibilities will extend
through the planning, design and construction stages of the project. The
PM Civil Engineering shall work closely with the CEO and with GCE
throughout.
Prepare civil engineering scope and programs. Review the programs
submitted by consultants and contractors.
Manage the administration of the construction contracts on the owner’s
side. Oversee contract administration and supervision activities.
Provide a strong presence on site as owner’s representative. Oversee and
monitor construction activities and progress on site, quality, HSSE. Hold
regular site meetings and progress meetings and obtain updates from
contractors and consultants.
Oversee progress and implement program mitigation measures as
appropriate. Provide regular progress updates as required for civil works
to CEO and GCE.
Project Manager is expected to manage the procurement of the engineering
designers, contractors, in close consultation with the CEO, GCE,
Procurement and other relevant departments.
To manage and support the civil engineering / project management
consultant and review submissions.
Manage the procurement of the engineering designers/ PMC / contractors,
in close consultation with the CEO, GCE, Procurement and other relevant
departments.
Liaise with SGP departments regarding logistics and site activities in order
to minimize interference between construction activities and the terminal
operations.

Demonstrable competency in strategic planning.
Ability to understand complex issues quickly and make wise decisions.
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and
methods.
Must be structured, organized and proactive with proven skills &
experience as a change manager
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant
rules, regulations and quality standards.
Excellent communication skills in English and able to manage effectively
in a multicultural environment.
Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
Competent in conflict and crisis management.
Excellent time and project management skills.
Competent in MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project/Prima Vera.
