Have experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, infrastructure industries on large to mega projects
Prepares and reviews engineering studies, design drawings and documents, engineering sketches, material requisitions and structural specifications as necessary
Must have working knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications
Demonstrates ability to work with others
Has demonstrated capabilities in designing independently with minimum supervision
Must have working knowledge of project QA/QC requirements
Must have knowledge of civil/structural design practices, calculations, design details, international codes and standards
Has experience in preparation of bill of materials
Resolves specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards
Carry out the detailed design, drawings and calculation for projects assigned by HoD/Project Manager
Aware of appropriate codes of practice and standards
Aware of and able to use design and assessment methods under supervision
Aware of analytical methods used within discipline and theoretical background for analysis programs
Able to identify personal training/education opportunities
Highly motivated with an innovative and analytical mind
Able to communicate ideas to both senior and junior personnel
Be able to travel occasionally to undertake site visits/data collection for both onshore and offshore (platforms)
Consult with other departments on structural design , problems and questions
Assist and/or checks the work of drafters and designers as required
المهارات
05 Years’ Experience.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Equivalent (Civil, Structural or Ocean Engineering)
Through knowledge be able to undertake structural analyses for offshore fixed or floating (FPSO), Jack - up rig etc. and prepare all the necessary design reports using design tools, guides, project codes and specifications
Should be proficient in Microsoft office software (Word and Excel) and applicable or work-related software such as (MATHCAD, Foundation 3D, SACS and STAAD and other related software).
Should also be familiar with editing, opening and reading drawings in AutoCAD / Microstation.
