Daily Inspections of ongoing work activities at Site.
Conducting Inspections of work place to identify potential hazards.
Daily Unsafe Observations and letters given to the contractor for rectification.
Monitoring the Weekly Tool Box Meeting conducted by the Contractors.
Inspections of Mobile vehicles (Crane, loader, Excavator, Bobcat, Boom lift. Etc)
Conducting drills such as Fire drills and Emergency Evacuation drills.
Conducting walk through’ s at project site with all Contractors, Sub- Contractors and Clients Project managers, Construction Managers and Safety personals.
Conducting the Weekly Safety Meetings with Contractor Safety personnel’s.
Attending meetings with Client and discussing the Site Health and Safety reviews and updates.
Monitoring and conducting the training programs for workers on safety related matters to make sure they are aware of regulations and procedures.
Preparing the Daily, Weekly and Monthly Safety Reports.
Inspecting and monitoring work permits of Contractors and Sub- Contractors.
Conducting weekly inspections of power tools and Firefighting Equipment.
Conducting Monthly Safety Audit of site and preparing site HSE Evaluation (Audit) Report.
Evaluating hazardous conditions and recommending engineering controls, administrative controls / and or personal protective equipment.
Ensure that all new employees or operatives working with Project received Safety orientation program.
Inspect and Monitor the place of work, ensuring that all H&S;Procedures, Safe working practices are being carried out properly in accordance with relevant Safety legislation and with the requirements of Company.
Ensure that records or Checklists are completed and filed for inspections, Accidents, Audits and Exercises.
Promote client health, safety and environment requirement through awareness and monitor compliance with the said requirements.
Inspection of working on High elevation, fall protection, scaffolding.
Check and inspect power, electrical, mechanical tools etc used by the workers at the job site to secure in good conditions to avoid any untoward accident happen while performing or commencing their job.
Put necessary safety precautions before starting any job.
Inspection of Storage & Handling of Flammable Liquids & Gases, Hazardous Substances, Health
Lead management team in development of annual HSSE objectives and action plans and track and report such progress.
Development of a safety-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.
Manage compliance to regulatory, company, and client requirements
Manage Project employee HSSE communication
Assist Project Management and Project HSSE with providing HSSE assurance to Clients/Projects, including participation in HSSE coordination meetings as required
Manage inventory/stocking, distribution/checkout and condition of service for Project PPE for all Project personnel needs. Ensure employee training and certifications on proper PPE usage, care and custody.
Manage/perform periodic Company and Project specific HSSE audits, record findings and prepare presentation of all audits including, follow-up inspection for NCRs, Action Items, etc.
Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses to establish the cause and recommend actions to prevent re-occurrence.
Develop, lead management approval team, publish, and maintain company emergency response plans including evacuation, building security, emergency contacts, etc.
Manage and direct company Safety Officer(s) and contractors in execution of building security, access control and evacuation response.
المهارات
B.S. Degree – preferred in engineering (or a minimum of Diploma in Safety)
OSHA or NEBOSH credentials strongly preferred
ISO 14001 certification preferred
10+ years of experience in HSSE work.
At least five years’ experience working in Saudi Arabia in related field with strong management qualifications and Saudi Aramco experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated strong attention to details, proactive administrative support, organizational and planning skills required.
Must have a demonstrated track record of building healthy relationships and outstanding interpersonal skills.
Experience in a professional service or engineering industry strongly preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Arabic
Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a multicultural team as well as independently.
